Purbapally Unnayan Samity is a social and cultural club serving the community of Purbapally, Sodepur since 1963.
Durga Puja 2023 was a magnificent celebration at Purbapally Unnayan Samity. The five-day festival brought together hundreds of families from across Sodepur with a stunning pandal, exquisite idol craftsmanship, soulful cultural performances, and the warmth of community bonding. This year's theme celebrated "Roots of Bengal" - celebrating the rustic beauty and folk traditions of rural Bengal.
Our Durga Puja 2023 ran from Shashthi to Dashami, featuring a beautifully themed pandal, a magnificent idol of Maa Durga crafted by renowned artisans, daily rituals and anjali, evening cultural programs, and community bhog distribution for thousands of devotees.
